Power lines in China
Having spent the day exploring Xi’an one of the things that really impressed me was the complete lack of safety concerns regarding power lines.
They seem to be tangled together in a haphazard fashion, being propped up by whatever trees and man made structures happen to be put in place.
As scary as some of the bizzare thrown together things are in this city I’ve got to admire the combination of nerve and optimism the builders must have to look at some of these things and go, “yep that looks like it won’t kill anyone.” Job well done!
