Off to a flying start! (Well not really…)
After a late night and early morning of packing and finalising things I arrived at the airport!
Due to one of the crew falling ill the flight is being delayed by three hours while another crew member is flown in.
It means that the family had to head back home without seeing me fly off. That being said, it’s not a big deal really – I had an eight hour wait at Sydney airport before my next flight so it doesn’t affect me.
The overall fragility of the whole system is interesting though, one crew member down stuffing an entire flight seems less than ideal.
