Heading back south and learning to dive

After a fantastic few days in Ubud it was time to say goodbye and jump back on the bike. The ride back was pleasant and uneventful.

I made it to my new hostel in good time and settled in. It has a pool and is within easy walking distance of the beach, which is great.

I decided that it was high time I learnt to dive. I signed up for a course with PADI which lasted for three days. I had a great time and I feel like the information covered was very comprehensive, however I also thought there wasn’t enough time to put a lot of it in to practice.

The dive sites were stunning. Tropical fish and wrecks make for a fun time. I wish I’d brought a waterproof camera housing!
